Hi, I am Stephanie the photographer behind the camera of Beloved Captures. I am the proud wife of a retired Army veteran, and momma to 5 amazing kids ranging in age from littles to young adult. We hail from Missouri, but the Army life transplanted us all over, and we are SO happy to return home to the Kansas City area.

 

 I start everyday with a cup of coffee...sometimes two! My photography journey began in high school journalism when I first started shooting 35mm black and white film and developing it in the darkroom. I continued through college, and maintained the love through the years. I have followed my passion into the digital world and decided to pursue my passion and share my vision with others. I love LOVE and capturing love between people; the maternity/motherhood experience, the love of a couple gazing into each other's eyes, the whispering of sweet nothings into your partner's ear, parents in the simple moments with their children, the tiny details of your new sweet baby, and generations of family together. Life is such a journey and it deserves be documented.

My Photography Style

 I am an on location photographer and take photos primarily in natural light at locations around Kansas City and surrounding areas. 

I do both lifestyle/candid, and posed/portrait photography.  My goal is to share in your vision and take great photos to provide you with memories to last a lifetime. I see the importance of both digital images to share online with your families, and also beautiful printed art that you can hold in your hand, or have in your home for generations. I offer both.

I feel that photos are precious memories of moments in life that pass too quickly, and sweet reminders of where we have been. To me photos are priceless keepsakes, and I put my best into every session to capture your important moments. I look forward to working with you to provide you with your most "Beloved Captures".
